And when

And when i grow
Finally tired
of waiting for
the crumbs off your table,
I will bake my own bread
And give it to the fish
Or anyone i wish.
There are no happy stories
Beginning with dependancies,
But maybe happiness is not
What should be my goal
My  aim?
But this silent content
Caring and tending
my own garden
Feeding my soul
Swans swimming
Upon a calm lake,
Not allowing regrets
To block the view,
Not of you
But the small young ducks
born of hope
A new day
Always brings
On my way
If i allow
to know
its ways.
