police poetry -the contradiction

Inspired by Justin Bemberg
lawyer on behalf of the family of the victim of shooting by the police in charlotte.

Innocent until proven guilty,
human until proven inhuman,
not losing in order to gain,
human until proven otherwise,
angry until justice has been achieved and a name has been cleared.
police until proven otherwise,
defense until proven offense,
demonstration until proven
another hidden agenda ,
human until proven subhuman
by the lack of justice
by the justice system.

Notes:
Enraged by those trying to defend those who are armed sent to save society from violence but create more violence so it is not clear who is exactly the threat to society;the police or those they stop and shoot.
