300,000 to preserve a Hollywood memoribilia !!!
My suggestion:Auction them to a private collector who will invest or get a rich fancy shoes maker to sponser them!
How attached are we to cultural clothing and shoes while too many need shoes and clothes?!
Don’t get me wrong:
I love “the wizard of Oz”
and it is one of the 5 musical movies i have and treasure at home(even though i do not have a screen to view it anymore)
But would it  really matter if a replica was there instead?
The wax museum has replicas too and people still get a thrill from the copies..
