Meeting

Meeting an American  lady
walking a yellow labrador
named”buddy”,
the conversation turns
to her new elected president
(Not by majority)
Yes,
She is upset,
Still remember how she felt
when the newly elected president
(Not by a majority)
mocked a  handicap,
and she is a mother of a severly handicapped
Autistic son .
When i turned to walk another way
She told me she continues
not to accept her newly elected
president
(Not by a majority)
She had read
The rise and fall of the third Reich
and sees a similarity
to the newly elected president
(Not by a majority)
As i walked down my street
remembering how close
it was to being an
easy to accept life,
the sun disappeared
slowly from the sky
reminding me
that nothing in life
was or is or will ever be
easy,
even if rejected by
a majority.
