st. George is gone

The news of George Michael’s death at 53 disturbed the Christmas  holiday prolonged imprisonment .

I was never a fan of the fun loving entertainer who had serious  social issues hidden in the texts of his songs about the lack of true freedom to be who one wants and was born to be.

While i respect his struggle to come out of the social prison he was forced into , and especially his struggle against the police, who punished him for being different, i wonder why so many musicians die so young and 53 is too young to leave this world of heart failure..

My assumption is that too many musicians abuse substances that make it difficult for the body to continue which is an important lesson about the need to unite body and soul in maintaining a healthy body , not to take drugs , drink or abuse the body as too many musicians do .

Life is limited so lets postpone the expiration date, as a doctor in Thailand told our yoga teachers group, do the right things, and think what you want, and say what you want, but pay  the body and our physical limitations the respect needed,

please do not drink or take drugs, because life is precious and every minute counts!
