She said she wanted

She said she wanted

Someone to tell her the truth

She said she needed honesty

after all

And then

The wrapping and the lies

And deceit

reappeared

As if telling her

As if challenging her

to stay sane

and to trust

That next time

She will not meet

What she doesn’t need

but what

She says

She wants .
