Masks people wear

What is it about people who wear masks and refuse to admit what is behind the mask ?

ShanAnn Watts was REAL, what you see is what you get! She spoke her mind but lurking behind her was a man wearing a mask of a family man who cares about his family, who loves his daughters, who priorities them however his behaviour said otherwise ; he cheated on his wife with a MAN, he cheated on his wife with a WOMAN from work, he went around seeking quick hook ups on the internet while his wife went OPENLY on the internet seeking to promote her business and improve the family’s financial situation .

HE acted as if , as if he was a devoted father and husband but his behavior as exposed after the murder of his wife and daughters exposed his true self.

Who are we anyway?

The word “personality” is made up of the Greek noun “persona”-a mask.

The way we behave and the way we present ourselves to the world ideally go together and then we are in harmony but when they clash we hurt other people and in the case of Christopher Watts, as soon as the mask fell, a violent murderer acted , not caring anymore about appearances, or caring just long enough to attempt to fool the police but since the police force has a team of professional investigators whose job is to expose what lays behind the mask, he admitted to the murder of his wife while still maintaining that the wife was the murderer , and playing the role of the narcissistic scoundrel who is unable to care about anyone else but himself .

“Are we really happy here with this lonely game we play?
Looking for words to say
Searching but not finding, understanding anyway
We’re lost in a masquerade

Both afraid to say we’re just to far away
From being close together from the start
We tried to talk it over but the words got in the way
We’re lost inside this lonely game we play

Thoughts of leaving disappear every time I see your eyes
No matter how hard I try
To understand the reasons why we carry on this way
We’re lost in a masquerade

[Bridge]

Both afraid to say we’re just to far away
From being close together from the start
We tried to talk it over but the words got in the way
We’re lost inside this lonely game we play

Thoughts of leaving disappear every time I see your eyes
No matter how hard I try
To understand the reasons why we carry on this way
We’re lost in a masquerade
Wohoho, in a masquerade”
